Warriors Rest builds resiliency with First Responders, their partners and their families to foster healthy professional and personal lives. In an average life span, a person experiences 5 to 7 traumatic events, but in a 25-year career, a First Responder can experience anywhere from 500 to 700 traumatic events. First Responders simply don't "get over" the trauma they encounter throughout the course of their service career. Warriors Rest Foundation is giving them the tools to work through the pain, so they can thrive in spite of it.
